Kaname HOSOYA - Head of Product Control department
After a previous experience as Equity Sales, I joined Calyon 2 years ago to head the newly created Product Control department now comprising of 5 staffs. On top of the control function, our team has a role of interface with the clients covering all "after-sale" aspects which became more and more important along with the growing sophistication of our products. As a former Sale, I strongly value this customer-oriented approach. This continuous chain of services to our clients is a key in establishing long-term and recurrent relationships.
Yasuaki ISHIDA – Head of Fixed Income Sales
My challenge here is to develop a stronger sales platform, raise the presence of Calyon Japan, and contribute to revenue generation. The goal should be to build a well-recognized and respected French investment bank in Japan. We are still in the middle of this but we are progressing day by day. For me working at a French firm is a first experience and it is stimulative. I had never been to Paris and France before my joining Calyon 2 years ago.
Chikashi TORII - Coverage Officer
I joined Calyon in May 2006 and was assigned a portfolio of key large Japanese Corporates for which Calyon has a worldwide Coverage. The cross-selling objective means constant exchange with business lines or network colleagues. On top of such large Corporates, we pushed into the Upper Middle Market segment focusing on highly structured Capital Markets products. I do appreciate this variety in our approach: each client deserves its own tailor-made solution.
