Last 12th November Calyon, as Platinium Sponsor, participated to the 7th Go4Europe Conference organized by Cukierman Investment House and Calalyst Fund in Tel Aviv.
Centering on the development of mutual understanding and economic relations between Israel and Europe, this annual conference is one of the musts for the European and Israeli business communities wishing to step up business and other relations between the two regions.
This year the conference achieved a new record with over 650 participants of which almost 200 from major European corporations. It gave an opportunity to the Calyon teams to have many contacts with local and European industrialists and investors.
On the occasion of this event, the public benefited from the expertise of two personalities from the Crédit Agricole s.a. Group, viz Jean Paul Betbèze, Crédit Agricole's Chief Economist participated in the panel on "What future trends for European markets?" and Thierry Sebton, Managing Director at Calyon and Head of Securitisation for the UK, addressed the theme "Real Estate and alternative investments around the world".

The Calyon stand was animated by Hervé Uzan, Senior Banker for Israel and Bertrand Levèque, from the International Department - Middle East area presented CBI activities, Similarly, on the stand of Crédit Agricole (Switzerland) which is due to open an office in Tel Aviv in the near future, Guillaume Lejoindre, Jean-Benoît Guex and Nicolas Lang, the future manager of the office, presented the activities of the subsidiary.
