Calyon has a comprehensive range of online services for financing international trade and making it more secure.
These services are aimed at exporting or importing companies, and can be accessed through Optim electronic services and a multi-bank solution called Bolero Advise.
Calyon allows real-time management of all your documentary credits and remittances, in France and abroad (eCredoc®, Optim Import, Bolero Advise, Optimtrade).

 eCredoc® service

eCredoc® enables you to open or amend your documentary credits and manage your documentary remittances online.
The Optim Internet system is based on digital certificates and a public key/private key architecture. CA Certificat, developed by the Crédit Agricole group, provides the following four levels of security:
1. Authentication: the system guarantees that the issuer and the recipient are who they say they are.
2. Integrity: the system detects any modification of the data being transmitted.
3. Confidentiality: the data transmission system is highly secure. Only authorised persons can gain access to the data being transmitted.
4. Non-repudiation: the system officially registers a declaration as soon as it is received, putting its reception beyond dispute.

Optim Import

Optim Import allows you to achieve substantial increases in productivity by electronically managing and transmitting all your import documentary credit opening and amendment operations. The service uses a user-friendly, multi-bank, multi-lingual and networkable software system.
Optim Import allows you to:- create requests to open or amend documentary credits based on models and a database
- send these requests electronically to Calyon using the ETEBAC 3 protocol
- use and produce various statistics on transactions using Excel
- monitor payments made through the use of your letters of credit
- consult and produce reports.
BoleroAdvise

Calyon was one of the first banks to join Bolero in France, and now offers the BoleroAdvise service to exporting companies that want to manage information relating to their documentary credits online. This reliable, secure, multi-bank solution allows exporters to be notified in real time when export documentary credits are opened and amended.
The automated interface between Calyon's IT systems and BoleroAdvise means that the customer is better informed and can carry out operations more quickly.
Calyon is an active member of the working party of French banks involved with BoleroAdvise, and is proposing several developments to the existing service, in order to add other documents and information aimed at exporters.

Optimtrade

Within the framework of Optim, Optim Trade Services allows importers to issue on-line, make amendments and to follow in real time their status.
The importer has immediate access to its latest transactions, notifications made by the bank, and a calendar of events of key dates relevant to the letters of credit, expiry, shipment period, maturity date.
Furthermore, direct access is available to swift messages, discrepancies, acknowledgement of receipt, and accounting entries.
The service allows via its administrator within the organization of the importer to delegate levels of authorization and reporting capabilities.
This user friendly portal holds a leading position on the French market, bringing efficiency, quickness, reliability and security.
