The Cheuvreux Autumn Conference was again a resounding success this year, bringing together 520 European and North American institutional investors with top managements of 89 listed companies. Focusing on French securities, the four-day Conference was held from September 25 to 28 at the Grand Hôtel Intercontinental in Paris. In the pattern of last year, the first day of the Conference was exclusively devoted to mid-cap companies, and featured 41 firms. The number of face-to-face meetings organized over the four days more than doubled from last year's 400 to 875 this year. Investors were also invited to many presentations by companies' top managements, including 37 CEOs of CAC 40 companies. The Conference also featured lunchtime presentations by Christopher Potts, Head of Economics and Strategy at Cheuvreux, 2001 Nobel Laureate in Economics Joseph Stiglitz and Jean-Paul Agon, Chief Executive Officer of l'Oréal. The next Cheuvreux conference will take place in New York on October 22 and 23, and will focus on mid-cap European companies.
