Calyon has been mandated Arranger by Voest Alpine AG to lead a EUR 3.68 billion 1.5-year bridge financing for the acquisition of Böhler Uddeholm AG. Voest Alpine AG is a leading European steel producer and base metals processing group with its own steelmaling facilities and headquarters in Austria. Boehler Uddeholm, also headquartered in Austria, is the worldmarket leader for the production of special steel.
