Calyon acted as Bookrunner, Mandated Lead Arranger, Underwriter, Sole Facility Agent and Sole Documentation Agent in a USD 250 million unsecured 5-year syndicated term loan facility on behalf of Oil Company Lukoil. The syndication met with great success and closed more than twice oversubscribed. This transaction was a significant landmark, as it is the most aggressively priced 5-year syndicated loan to a Russian corporate to date. Lukoil is the largest oil company in Russia with revenues of USD 67.7 billion and EBITDA of USD 12.3 billion in 2006.
