Calyon acted as Joint Bookrunner of a 1.46 billion bridge financing on behalf of Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (biggest electricity company in the Bogotá area in Colombia). The purpose of this facility is to finance the acquisition of Ecogas (main gas transporter in Colombia). The bridge with a tenor of 9 months will be refinanced by an up to USD 1.21 billion bond issue, in which Calyon also intervenes as Joint Lead Manager, and a USD 250 million syndicated loan.
