Calyon acted as Mandated Lead Arranger in a EUR 3 bn syndicated loan, on behalf of Arcelor, one of the world leaders in steel industry. This loan is designed to refinance a previous syndicated facility in the amount of EUR 2 bn. Initially planned for EUR 2 billion, the facility was heavily oversubscribed, with EUR 3.9 bn commitments. This new mandate confirms Calyon leading role with Arcelor group.
