With 1,300 staff and CHF 56 bn in assets under management, Crédit Agricole Switzerland is one of Crédit Agricole s.a Group's major international entities and the main Private Banking operation in the network.
The result of successive mergers with several long established Swiss banks, and the richer for it from a competencies viewpoint, the institution ranks amongst the leading foreign banks in Switzerland in terms of assets under management, net income, capital and headcount. This shows its commitment to and its constant development in Switzerland for over 130 years. Traditionally located in regions with different cultures and languages, Crédit Agricole Switzerland has developed a customer driven approach and a sharp sense of human contact. These essential qualities enable it to understand customers' expectations and to suggest the solutions best adapted to their requirements.
It is active in two areas: Private Banking under the Crédit Agricole Suisse Private Bank name, Transactional Commodities Finance, Commercial Banking and Capital Market operations under the Calyon name.
A specialized bank in mortgages in Switzerland and in France, Crédit Agricole Financements offers its expertise through five branches in Geneve, Lausanne, Fribourg and Basel. Furthermore, the European broker Cheuvreux has offices in Zurich.
