Calyon has been established in Sweden since 1986 and is operating through a full branch in Stockholm. The stock brokerage division, CA Cheuvreux Nordic AB is as well co-located with the Calyon Branch in Stockholm. Calyon caters for the universal needs of large corporate clients, financial institutions including the municipality sector in all the Nordic countries and Financial Sponsors.
Calyon has local origination and execution capacity in most financial products having local client relationship management functions, Capital Market sales forces and Structured Finance operations. All local functions are an integral part of a Global or European Product or Senior banker organisation and Industrial Sectors. Calyon is operating in over 60 countries where the local branches and subsidiaries are tailored to support the European large corporate and institutional clients.
Calyon ranks among the two to three largest non-nordic banks in the region and is active in all major product disciplines. It is staffed by over 100 people.
Crédit Agricole Group has as well other operating and legal units in the Nordic region including asset management (Crédit Agricole Asset Management) and consumer financing (Finaref, Dan Aktiv).
