Building on over a century of activity in China, Calyon has five fully operational branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Xiamen and a representative office in Shenzhen. Calyon China also provides equity brokerage, distribution and direct investment capabilities via CLSA and its JV CESL. Extensive experience in advising and arranging major projects and close working relationships with local Chinese banks make Calyon China one of the top foreign debt financing institutions in the region. Calyon China has pioneered a number of finance projects and was among the first foreign banks to be licensed for Chinese currency (RMB) operations.
