The International Liaison Desks: a network without borders dedicated to Middle market clients

The International Liaison Desk Network (ILDN) offers support to French companies to more easily access local banking services and to adjust generally to the commercial realities of operating in a foreign country.

A dynamic network in over 70 countries

The ILDN
covers more than 70 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.

This network is supported by Crédit Agricole Group’s international presence. Additionally, Crédit Agricole Group has signed specific partnership agreements with large commercial foreign banks in order to provide international banking services to its corporate customers.

Recommended by the account officer in France and supported by the Delegate abroad, the client benefits from a privileged relationship with these partner banks, which are firmly established in their respective markets.

He initiates and follows the company’s relationship with the partner bank or the local Credit Agricole Group branch. If necessary, he introduces the company to local service providers or consultants.
The Delegate puts at the disposal of the company his technical skills, his knowledge of the environment and
the local players. The Delegate is responsive and available, providing the company fast and relevant answers.

On a daily basis, the Delegates provide companies with their experience in many fields:

=> Banking information and advice:
Recommendations on the accepted methods of payment, the most effective clearing systems, local banking practices, specific financial products and even the detection of fraudulent operations.

=>Assistance with an account opening abroad:
Identification of the nearest branch and introduction to the appropriate contact, assistance in the opening of the account in order to accelerate the process, and subsequently in its operation (if need be, particularly in the beginning of the relationship).

=>Cash Management :
Analysis of needs and advice (online balance reporting, wire transfers, centralization of local and international treasury, etc), liaison between the local bank specialists and Credit Agricole Group in France to put the services in place.

=>Assistance for local financing:
