On September 26th 2008, Abénex Capital, together with Natixis Private Equity and Buffalo Grill's management, acquired Colbison which indirectly holds a 100% stake in Buffalo Grill, from Colony Capital. The total consideration for the acquisition was not disclosed.

Calyon acted as :

• sole mergers and acquisitions advisor to the private equity fund Abenex (former ABN Amro Capital France)
• co arranger of the financing together with CADIF et Société Générale.

Buffalo Grill is the leading steack house restaurant in France with an estimated 50% market share, a turnover of EUR 350 million in 2007. Buffalo Grill has a network of 300 restaurants mainly in France. The Group was founded in 1980 by Christian Picart, bought in 2005 by Colony Capital, and withdrawn from Paris Stock Exchange in 2007. A partnership with Klepierre group has been put in place to externalize restaurants buildings. The new shareholders aim to support the management in the development of the Group through the restaurant network extension, and by strengthening the marketing policy.
