Lebanon

Crédit Agricole is present in Lebanon via four different entities:
  • A Crédit Agricole Suisse subsidiary, formed in 2006: Crédit Agricole Suisse (Liban) Financial Services SAL. Its role is to assist Crédit Agricole Suisse with its sales activity among Lebanese clients,
  • Calyon has a 9% holding in Banque Libano Française, a universal bank with a network of 30 branches throughout the country and one of the six largest Lebanese banks,
  • Crédit Agricole SA has a 6% holding in Fransabank SAL. Fransabank has a 66-branch network and is one of Lebanon's six largest banks,
  • Banque Libano Française and Fransabank have respective holdings in Bancassurance of 31% and 40%, alongside Prédica (29%).

The Middle East Delegation also offers assistance to Crédit Agricole's corporate clients, giving them a deeper understanding of the local environment and easier access to the banking services they need abroad.
