 | Business description | Cheuvreux operates in the following areas:
- institutional brokerage in major European stockmarkets,
- programme trading and electronic brokerage in international markets,
- brokerage services for corporate clients and European private equity funds,
- brokerage services for the retail clientele of Crédit Agricole Group.
The integration and the reorganisation of online brokerage company with CPR Online in 2005, strengthened this offer.
The Crédit Agricole/Crédit Lyonnais merger represented a major challenge for the equity brokerage business in 2004. It provided an opportunity for Cheuvreux to focus on European equity brokerage while collaborating with our Asian brokerage unit CLSA, and to consolidate its position by developing business with the group's other internal clients, particularly the LCL retail network.
