Calyon offers a full range of products and services in capital markets, brokerage, investment banking, structured finance, commercial banking and international private banking.

Fixed Income Markets

Calyon has a network of 31 trading rooms around the world, of which six are liquidity centers: London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Bahrain and Tokyo. It offers its clients a strong positioning in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, a targeted presence in the United States, and additional entry points in other local markets.

Calyon Fixed Income division provides its clients with the right solution addressing their specific needs. It is comprised of five product lines (commodities, debt and credit markets, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives and treasury) and one commercial division. These trading and sales entities are supported by dedicated research departments.

Foreign Exchange With 170 professionals, the business line offers a complete line of foreign exchange products to meet all of its clients' needs. This is from spot market transactions to options and structured products, through dedicated sales representatives, and, in some cases, electronic execution. Debt & Credit Markets Debt & Credit Markets is a global product line organised along four business lines. It has geographical presence in all major financial centres and dedicated trading hubs.
Commodities Calyon has been a key player in the commodities business for over 20 years. The primary business focus is in the energy and metals markets where it is a renowned market maker. It continues to develop its commodities business by entering into additional markets. This reflects the emergence of new commodities markets and the increasing requirements of its clients for hedging products. Interest Rate Derivatives Calyon has been one of the major players in interest rate derivative products for almost 20 years. The interest rate derivatives business line is comprised of 360 professionals distributed amongst 25 countries and offers a broad range of products and solutions adapted to client's requirements.
Treasury Operating in five liquidity centers (Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong), the Treasury business line offers continuous access to global money markets. Calyon is a major counterparty for 90 supranational institutions and central banks. By delegation of the ALM committee, the Treasury business line manages the short term liquidity risk of the bank, and produces all the liquidity reports for internal use and regulatory.
