Equity brokerage and Derivatives

Calyon's equity brokerage businesses are recognised worldwide. They comprise two subsidiaries, each with leading positions: Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux, which covers Europe and the Middle East and offers access to 60 execution venues worldwide, and CLSA, active in Asia including Japan. Their coverage is rounded out by Calyon Securities (USA) Inc. and Newedge, which is controlled 50/50 by Calyon and Société Générale and ranked in the top 5 for execution and clearing on listed derivatives products.

Global Equity Derivatives (GED) deals in trading, sales and arbitrage of equity derivatives, index derivatives, simple or complex structured products, warrants, certificates and indexed products.

GED closely works with Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management (CASAM), a joint venture owned in equal parts by Crédit Agricole Asset Management and Calyon, which combines the expertises of the Crédit Agricole group in terms of structured management, alternative investment solutions and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds).

CA Cheuvreux CA Cheuvreux, the Crédit Agricole S.A. Group's European broker, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calyon, offers a full range of bespoke services to its international customer base. CA Cheuvreux is the first broker to sign the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI). It thus places ESG issues at the heart of its development, as a research broker but also as a responsible company. CLSA With more than 1,400 professionals, CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets is Asia's leading, independent brokerage and investment group. The company provides investment banking, capital markets, equity broking and asset management services to global clients. As part of the Calyon group of companies, CLSA acts as a market maker and security broker in several markets in Asia.
Newedge Newedge is positioned as a world leader in the execution and settlement of listed derivatives, thanks to its network of 3,000 professionals spread over 17 countries. Owned equally by Société Générale and Calyon, Newedge grew out of the alliance between Fimat and Calyon Financial. Equity derivatives 300 professionals cover 40 countries from 12 locations in Europe, America and Asia. The equity derivatives business line offers products and solutions tailored to clients' needs. It is active in trading, sales and arbitrage.
