Coverage and Investment banking

The commercial organisation is in two parts : geographical coverage for multi-business clients and sector coverage to share know-how acquired in the bank's various divisions with clients in specialised business sectors. Two units, French regional division and Foreign delegations division, serve Crédit Agricole Group's middle-market clients, respectively in France and in the rest of the world.

Advisory services and equity financing performed by Coverage and Investment Banking are as follows: mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, corporate equity derivatives and loan syndication. A dedicated team meets clients' specific requirements in the area of Islamic finance.

Two dedicated units serve middle-market clients, respectively in France and in the rest of the world. Primary Equity Capital Markets Initial public offerings, capital increases, bond issues - the Primary Equity Capital Markets business line handles all the business of issuing equities globally.
Corporate equity derivatives Employee savings plans, share buybacks, stock options - the Corporate equity derivatives business line structures transactions using equity derivatives to manage capital transactions. Global corporate finance Global corporate finance includes activities in support of mergers and acquisitions, from strategic consulting to deal execution.
Global loan syndication Global loan syndication provides a broad coverage of the three global markets of borrowers: Europe, Middle East and Africa, Americas and Asia-Pacific. It co-originates, structures, distributes and trades transactions arranged by Calyon in the syndicated loan market. Islamic banking Calyon offers a broad range of Islamic financial services.
